obtained for a valuable consideration from N. W. Washbourn to
Harrison Cockrill, late of said county now deceased, and that he -- the said
Cockrill made the following [?] on the back of said order to wit, "I Except the
[?] this 5th day of Dec 1856. H. Cockrill." And
the said Cockrill acknowledged that he was indebted to the said N. W. Washbourn
in the sum of sixty and 96/100 ($60.96) dollars. And further swears that the same has never been paid
to us, nor any part thereof, and that there is no offset against the same.
