In the matter of the application of Mary M. Cockrill
widow of James A. Cockrill for letter of Administration upon the estate of
James A. Cockrill, dec'd.
Now comes
the said Mary M. Cockrill widow and heir at [?] of the said James A. Cockrill
deceased and in the matter of said application respectfully submit to said
court that said James A. Cockrill departed this life in or about the 18th day
of February 1853, in the said County of Sonoma that said James A. Cockrill died
[?] of an Estate in said County Exceeding in amount the sum of five hundred
dollars, your petitions [?] from this [?] that ct. [?] has in the life time of
the said James A. Cockrill his [?] and lawful wife and that she is now the age
of twenty and seven years.
Please for your
patience and respectfully prays these letters of administration may execute by
her in this behalf [?].
