Benjamin O. Fulkerson deposition from 23 March 1852.

Deposition given before A. C. McBeath, acting Justice of the Peace in Grayson Co.

 

...makes the following declaration in order to obtain the benefits of the act of Congress passed 4th July 1836 To wit that he is the administrator of the estate of Margaret Fulkerson deceased who was the window of John Fulkerson dicd, who was a pensioner under the act of Congress passed 7th of June 1832 at the rate of Eighty Dollars per annum...

 

He believes that Margaret and John were married in 1774.

 

He must respectfully ask that her aforesaid claim may be acclaimed and that the certificate evidencing the sum may be enclosed to his attorney E. S. Brown at Elizabethtown, KY...

 

States that Margaret Fulkerson died on 29 January 1839.

Lists seven children: Peter, Phillip, James, Polly McGrew, Sophia Richardson, Margaret Richardson, Phebe Harris as her only living children.
