Henry and Jacob and Nancy went to Iroquois Co. in 1835 and raised large families there. Many of their desendants live there yet.

Am searching for ancestry of my ggg-grandfather Henry D. Strickler (b.7-12-1796, Shenandoah Co., VA; d.1-22-1883, Iroquois Co., IL) who married Catharine BRUBAKER (dau of John Brubaker and Barbara Mauck). Henry and family moved from Shenandoah Co. or Page Co., VA arriving in Illinois, 1835. Possible brothers/sisters may include David Strickler (1790-1881), Joseph Strickler (1795-1872), Jacob Strickler (1798-1886), Barbara Strickler Kagey (1803-1875).
