Buyers include Abraham Barb, Abraham Fravel, Benjamin Fravel, Reuben Fravel, William Fravel, Anthony Miller, George Miller Sr., Jacob Miller, Jacob Miller of Shenandoah, John Miller, William Miller, Michael Trumbo, Caty Wilkins, Lydia Wilkins and others. Adms: George Wilkins and Jacob Wilkins.

There was also a George Miller who is probably related. From A History of Shenandoah County Virginia, by John W. Wayland (Shenandoah Publishing House, Strasburg, VA: 1927), from a caption of a picture of an old bible on p. 70: |
THIS OLD GERMAN BIBLE was mutilated by the Indians when they killed George Miller, his wife, and several of his children near Strasburg in 1764. An attempt was made to burn the house by placing a coal of fire in the Bible and closing the leaves; but the heavy lids weighted with the family cat, which had also shared a bloody fate, smothered the fire... This old heirloom, a souvenir of tragedy, is carefully perserved by Mr. Levi Miller, a descendant of George Miller, one of whose sons escaped the massacre.
