Notes:

Full name comes from Shirley Pope, a Zilhart/Wells family researcher.
According to a family list in Jeanne Miller's papers, he appears on the Jefferson Co. Tax Lists of 1796 and 1797 without property. In 1811 he had 34.75 acres on Chenoweth Run.
From the Jefferson County Deed Book for Philip Zilhart:
  8-6-1799 Bk. 5 Pg 122 Purchased 4 acres & 60 poles NW end Water St., from Abm. Brunner.  
  12-28-1804 Bk. 7 Pg 330 Sold 4 acres & 60 poles to Hezekiah Coates.  
  8-7-1805 Bk. 7 Pg 336 Purchased 34.75 acres from Robert McKeown.  
  6-21-1817 Bk. L Pg 479 Purchased 50 acres from Hiram Malott & John Kelly.  
  5-22-1835 Bk. QQ Pg 169 Sold 78 acres on Chenoweth Run to son, George.  
He made his will 4 Mar 1835, proved 1 Apr 1839, and mentions sons George and Philip, daughter Fanny and her sons Matthew, Henry, and William.
