Lived in Santa Rosa. Obituary in Santa Rosa Press Democrat, January 1, 1947 (transcribed by Wilma Perin and Nancy Miller):

MURDOCK RITES

Many old friends, including members of the Masonic fraternity and other groups with which he had been connected with gathered yesterday at the Welti Funeral Parlors to pay final tribute to the late Glenn E. Murdock. Rites were under auspices of the Masons, with the Rev. Grayson McClellan, pastor of the first Presbyterian Church, officiating. The impressive Masonic service and invocation and eulogy by Rev. McClellan were particularly appropriate in view of the life of the widely known citizen who died Sunday following a critical illness. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Santa Rosa Commandery, Knights of Templar, of which Murdock was a member, formed an escort of honor. From the chapel the cortege went to the Chapel of the Chimes where committal followed. Murdock was engaged in many activities in this community and enjoyed the esteem of a large circle of friends. His widow, Mrs. Abbie E. Murdock; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Rogers and Miss Edna Murdock; a nephew, Dr. Earle Rogers and a grandnephew, Clayton Murdock Rogers, survive.
