He moved to Bend, Oregon after getting married according to Glenva Conklin in McReynolds Family Westward Bound.

According to Staci Damery, a Lewis McReynolds family researcher (Descendants of Lewis Miller McReynolds, emailed 5 Apr 2003):

Lewis married Alice and moved to Oregon between 1886-1910. "They had 4 children, 3 daughters (one being Alice McReynolds-Percival) and a son Lewis Guy McReynolds." The family shows up in the 1920 Census for Crook Co., Oregon with a Dorinda Morrill listed as mother-in-law...

I contributed some information to your website on the McReynolds Family awhile back. This was for Lewis McReynolds who married Alice B. Phariss. I had two of the four children (Lewis Guy and Alice) with two unknown daughters. I now have the two "unknown" daughters as Talitha R. Mcreynolds, b. abt. 1882 and Agnes G. McReynolds b. abt. 1885 both in California.
