Notes:

Lived in Rincon Valley. Died at 68. The Badger name is not listed in either the 1850 or 1852 Sonoma Co. Census. There is a "Benjamin Badger", a. 1 b. CA. listed under Joseph's family in the 1860 Sonoma Census, which may be Douglas. There is only Wm. and Robt. Badger listed in 1870 Census. The family probably came from Indiana to California between 1852 and 1857, though it is indicated in Albert Badger's obituary that he was a descendant of a `49er. May have lived in another county other than Sonoma in 1870.
