1937. Believed not to have been married by several Wright family members: Michael Wright used to see Martin Taylor Wright walk by his family's house in McCrory when he was a child. When asked if Taylor had a wife, Mike said that his older brother told him that he had never married. However, Mamie Lee Wright Burnham of Logan County, also knew her half uncle and recently told Pat Bodine in a telephone conversation (1 June 2003) that Martin Taylor Wright was indeed married to Henrietta Cariker, and had never got over the death of his wife in childbirth. |
