We cannot prove that this William is a son of our William; However, he is a leading candidate to be a son or one of the missing sons of William Cockrell or Hezekiah or Reuben Cockrell.

We do not know who he married. No proof he is a son but it looks great. This William must have died before 1850 as he does not appear in the census records. If he is a son he died before his father.
