Notes:
Her name is listed
on the back of the 50th Anniversary
picture (from Mollie Wendt's collection) of Amanda and her sisters, as
Aunt Mary Foster. Lived on the Arroyo Seco near Soledad in Monterey
County next to her mother and siblings, and from
family photographs it appears
that she visited her sister, Amanda Fulkerson, in Santa Rosa often. Suffered a
stroke in Nevada (during a visit of the Baker family), shortly after visiting
the 1915 Panama-Pacific World's Fair in San Francisco with her 5 year old
granddaughter, Bessie Tavernetti, and then spent several months recuperating in
Santa Rosa, at Amanda's house. Amanda's grandson and my grandfather, Milton
Wendt, was also living there at that time.
