Notes:

That Martha Jane and Carolina Tennessee Thompson are sisters and are married to Wright brothers, appears to have been forgotten by some segments of the family. From Phyliss McMaster, "James Jerome THOMPSON," p. 4:
	first child of James Jerome's second marriage... she was still living with her family in 1880, listed in census records as being 18 years old. Nothing further is known about her.

From comments on the Thompson connection from Gayle Martinsen (03 Jan & 07 Jan 2001):
	My Great Grand mother was the wife of F.P. Wright my Great Grand father... they had the farm north of the Woodman of The World cemetery. Her brother also had the store at Deview, they were pretty well off and the women were more dignified than the regular country folks. Mamma remembers the Thompson women as doing lots of fancy sewing, including lace making... today I called the lady named Mamie Lee Wright Burnham, she is the one you told me about being Cally and Jim Wrights' youngest daughter, I couldn't believe it, her father Jim, is the brother to Frank P Wright, and her mother is Cally the sister of Frank P Wright's first wife. SO she is my grandfather Gaylen Wright's first double cousin... She is a lot younger than my grandfather Galen and from one generation sooner. She said she didn't know her mother had a sister named Martha Jane, I remember that Edith Welds, her cousin told me that she never heard the old folks talk about Martha, guessed it was she had been dead so long, but she knew that Galen was her mother's nephew... I am still shocked that she is alive and so much younger than the next two generations that is all dead.
