Notes:
Also known as Oma and Mrs. Naomi Miller of Minneapolis.
Joe would often tell this story about how Naomi met her future husband. During WWI, Joe and Milton Warner used to sell hamburgers which Cora (Holland) Warner would make to the soldiers as their troop trains would pass through Kensett. They would run along the side, as the train passed through, holding up a tray with the hamburgers on it and sell them one for a dime and three for a quarter. One day a metal container to store hardtack or crackers, was tossed from a passing train, and Joe picked it up. When he returned to his grandmother's house and his Aunt Naomi notice him playing with the can and took it away from him. She opened it up and found the address of the soldier who owned it printed inside. She wrote him that she had his hardtack can and he invited her to return it to him in Minnesota and apparently sent her the money for the trip. She took up the offer and ended up marrying the guy and living in Minnesota for several years.
However, Joe's sister, Helen, never heard of this story before and had a completely different story of how Naomi met her husband (his full name is no longer remembered by the family).
