Notes:

Helen lived in Odessa, Texas -- a remarkable place, particularly to drive across the state of Texas to visit. We met her there in December of 1995. Aunt Helen was equally as remarkable, and she talked to us for nearly 12 hours about the Holland Family and her long role within that family.

From an email message (8 Nov 2002) from Pat Bodine:
	Aunt Helen Riggs passed away in her sleep between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. November 8th 2002 at Deering Nursing Home Odessa Texas Room 106, she had a good day yesterday. She visited with friends and former pastors and Darrell. The funeral will be handled by Martinez Funeral Home, and burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery Midland, Texas tomorrow Saturday November 9, 2002. This cemetery is half way between Midland and Odessa. She and George Norwood had plots there, she will be buried next to George.
