Known as "Willie" among family members. Worked for a tractor company as a salesman, and would bring my father toy tractors of their various models.

Took sick during a visit to his ill mother at my grandparent's house and died suddenly from a cerebral hemorrhage at their house on Coombs Street. His mother died from cancer in the same house three months later. It was one of the worst experiences that my grandmother went through, she would later say. My father also later told me that it was one of the very sad times for the house.
