Notes:
Listed as
Buddie J. Watson, (daughter) a. 15, bp. AR in 1920 Census for
Benjamin Y. Watson's family in
Patterson,
AR. Believed to be the same individual listed as Freddie J. Watson, (daughter) a. 5 in the 1910 Census for Ben Y. Watson's family. A Freddie J. Watson, b. 1911 appears on Joe Holland's list for this family. She is mentioned in a 1915 letter by Etta Cariker Wright to her step-sister, 15 year old Minnie Delcemia Cariker, who appears to have gone to school with Freddie, who would have been her cousin. Identifying her picture from a photo recently emailed to me from Terri Treadway, it is suggested that Freddie Watson, had remained in close contact with her Aunt Cora, my great grandmother, as an adult. There were at least four pictures of an individual who appears to be her in my great grandmother's collection. From Iva Burnham (via Terri Treadway), Freddie married "Cat" Dairl, and had two children: Herman and Tincie. |
