Listed in the 1900 Census for Santa Rosa as being born "Dec 1896" in "NE." Her first name is not derived from Electra of the Greek play, but rather from the Bible, where it means "the elected."

The family historian of my childhood who sparked an early interest in me in such things at a young age though I never followed through until much later. Compiler of scrapbooks on the Thompson-Wakeland and Wendt-Fulkerson families which made up the initial source of material and inspiration for me to continue her work. A strong-minded woman, she managed to maintain her independence until the last couple of years of her life. During her last years, she expressed the hope to make it to 100, though often also wondered why she was the only one left. She passed away four months short of being 100 after a difficult couple of years. I spent a lot of time with her as both a child and adult, and had the chance to talk to her at great length about the family history. If only I had started sooner to record it all. She kept the family history alive when the rest of us were too busy to listen.
